By partnering with local and national charities, we are making professional will writing services in the UK more accessible than ever, all while helping the organisations that make our communities a better place.
How the Legacy for Life Programme Works
We wanted to keep this campaign as simple and transparent as possible. We’ve removed the jargon and the barriers to ensure you can focus on what matters most, your legacy.
Here is the step-by-step process:
Partner with a Charity: Secure Wills works with a range of partner charities. If you are a supporter or member of one of these partners, you are eligible for the campaign.
A Professional Will, On Us: We will draft a professional basic Single or Mirror Will for you, completely waiving our usual fee.
Make a Meaningful Donation: In exchange for your free Will, you're invited to make a suggested donation of £75–£100 directly to the partner charity — it's entirely up to you. This immediate gift helps the charity continue its incredible work today.
Consider a Legacy Gift: While there is no obligation, many of our clients choose to leave a legacy gift in their Will. Even a small percentage of your estate can make a monumental difference to a charity’s future.

We simply ask that you make an affordable donation to the charity in lieu of our fee. If the Will requires more complexity, or you require additional services, our usual fees may apply.
Do I have to leave a gift in my Will to the charity?
There is absolutely no legal obligation to leave a legacy gift. However, we hope that by experiencing our professional service for free, you will feel inspired to support the charity’s future work with a gift of any size.
What if my estate is complicated?
If you have complex needs, such as business interests or overseas assets, there may be a fee for the additional work required. However, we always provide clear, fixed pricing with no hidden fees, so you will know exactly where you stand before we begin.
Can I change my Will later?
Of course. A Will is a "living" document. If your circumstances change, you can update your Will at any time. We even offer lifetime reviews and document storage to make this process as smooth as possible.
