About Me

This is me.

My introduction to the world of wills began decades ago when a family member’s estate unexpectedly appeared on a BBC Heir Hunters episode.

As the owner of Secure Wills, I felt it important to explain my story and why I entered the Will Writing sector.

My grandfather had remarried later in life but never wrote a new will with his second wife. He assumed everything would eventually pass to his children. When he died, the whole estate legally passed to his wife and when she later died in 1998 at the age of 83, our family naturally believed we would inherit.

Because there was no will, a long lost blood relative from Australia came forward and made a claim to the estate. Under the intestacy rules, they had every right to do so. Had there been a will, my father would have inherited exactly as my grandfather intended.

Just a few years later, in 2001, I lost my father suddenly.

These experiences opened my eyes to the importance of proper estate planning and the emotional and financial impact that the absence of a will can have on a family. They inspired me to join the Society of Will Writers and dedicate my career to helping families protect what they have worked so hard for. My focus is simple: to ensure your estate passes to the people you love with clarity, confidence and peace of mind.
