We’re committed to making the process of
applying for the ‘Grant of Probate’ as straightforward
as possible for families in England and Wales.
If the deceased person left a Will, they will have named one or more people in the Will to act as their executors. The executors will need to apply to the Probate Registry for a Grant of Probate (unless the estate does not require a grant to be administered).
The Grant of Probate is a legal document which will enable the executors to deal with the assets and estate. They can use it to demonstrate that they have authority to collect the deceased person’s property, money and possessions and distribute them as set out in the Will.

Probate Extraction:
We can obtain the Grant of Probate on behalf of the named Executor if there is a Will or Administrator if there is no Will. This allows the Executor and Administrator to collect in funds, pay any outstanding debts and then distribute and/or transfer the assets to the beneficiaries.
The estate case manager will still be available for help and guidance after the Grant has been received by the executor. This gives our families peace of mind throughout the whole process.
Full Adminstration:
Every estate is different, but there are various stages of the probate estate administration process which are required in most cases. If you have any questions during the process, you can ask your Personal Estate Manager. They will keep you updated at each stage along the way.
This includes gathering information, preparing tax forms and applying for the Grant, closing accounts, completing the legal work, selling property, selling and transferring assets and paying debts, finalising tax work and producing estate accounts.
