Wills

Creating a Will is one of the most important steps you can take to protect your loved ones and ensure your wishes are carried out. At Secure Wills, we make the process simple, legal, and stress-free, giving you peace of mind for the future.

Protect your loved ones

Our aim is to take your instructions and provide a simple, concise, easy-to-understand document that is a true reflection of your wishes.

We are all unique and have different circumstances and aims. We visit many clients at home, which is comfortable, private, stress free and saves you travel, child care and if you are working from home or have time off work. Here, we take time to listen to you, your circumstances, worries and wishes.

We come to you.....

Our visits and advice are totally free and without obligation. By conducting a short and relaxed fact-find about you, we clarify your aims and major areas of concern. We then explain in a jargon-free way how we can help and we take down your Will details. Many clients, having put off Will making for many years, comment on how quick and easy we make the procedure and what a positive experience it is.

We answer any questions and in most clear cut cases we will arrange for your draft Will(s) to be emailed for your approval then posted to you directly or hand delivered with signing instructions.

What to consider.

When writing a Will, it’s important to think carefully about your assets, your loved ones, and how you want your estate to be handled. Consider who you want to inherit your property, savings, and personal belongings, and whether any special gifts or charitable donations should be included.

You should also decide on executors you trust to manage your estate, and, if you have children, appoint guardians to care for them.

Finally, think about whether any trusts are needed to protect vulnerable beneficiaries or manage assets over time. At Secure Wills, we guide you through every step to ensure your wishes are clear, legally valid, and tailored to your family’s needs.

Question 1: Do I need a Will?

The short answer is yes! A Will safeguards those items and ensure your requests are met.

Question 2: What can be in a Will?

There is a lot that can be included in your Will. This includes: Ensuring property and valuables go to the right people, specifying funeral wishes. helping with tax planning, appointing guardians for your children, making provisions for your pets, avoiding claims from estranged family members and protecting your hard earned assets for future generations.

Question 3: How long does drafting a Will take?

We can meet in the comfort of your home, over the phone or via a video call to discuss your situation and how we can help. The process of drafting typically takes two weeks. However, we can fast track this process if required.

Question 4: Where do I keep my Will?

It is important to note, it is only your original Will that is valid. Copies cannot be used. Therefore, we offer a secure storage solution, where we hold onto your original Will documents, as well as LPAs and provide them when required. Utilising this solution allows our clients to benefit from free basic Will updates whenever they require it.
